Last Friday night (4/30), C1RCA and Holiday ‘10 Culture Squad Artist, Jun Cha, released Jun’s newest shoe collaboration, Black Tear.

This limited edition capsule represents Cha’s mastery of the black ’n grey tattoo style, crossing over into skateboard culture through the unique application of his illustrations on C1RCA’s footwear silhouette, the Hatchett.

Cha uses a mother’s profile and a tear drop to symbolize the transition from death and sacrifice to freedom and growth of one’s true roots.

The release party was held at the new Streets of Venice Skateshop in Culver City.The party welcomed all walks of life to come and appreciate the collaboration of art, tattoo, street, and skateboarding.
