Last weekend C1RCA Select was at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco and so was pretty much everyone in California! The festival was packed! We saw everything from head-dresses to sun dresses, old shoes to new shoes to no shoes. Girls were running retro or just festival casual. And overall- boots were the fashion! boots on girls, boots on boys, boots on babies– I think it’s safe to say that this festival is a preview to what we’ll be seeing this winter.

the Afrika Bambaataa x C1RCA Select Zulu Collection is finally in stores!!

Afrika Bambaataa and C1RCA have teamed up to create two shoes for the Spring 2011 collection, the Convert and the 99 Vulc. The Bambaataa Convert features a High Top design with a molded EVA insole for added comfort. The Bambaataa Convert comes in a green, black and red color way with Suede, Patent Leather, Perf Action Nubuck, and a 3M reflective Upper. The Convert advertises the collab with “UZN” on the heel and “Zulu Nation” on the bottom sole representing the Universal Zulu Nation.

The Bambaataa 99 Vulc features a Mid-Top design with specialized, unique logo and material treatment. The Bambaataa 99 Vulc comes in black and gold with soft Nappa and wrinkle patent leather and the UZN branding on the tongue.

The Zulu collection also features three Zulu tshirts.

San Clemente, CA – January 17, 2011- C1RCA Footwear and Apparel is pre-releasing a Fall ‘11 slated boot, The Summit, from the Select Collection for a mid February delivery.

The Summit Vulc boot is constructed of a thick raw suede which utilizes no liner to create a more genuine boot feel. The toe of the Summit is hand stitched to create an authentic Moc style toe. The tongue is constructed as a wing style tongue which has flaps that extend under  the eyestay to keep the boot form fitting but also help to retain the overall shape of the boot over time. Over the tongue are high end wax laces to lend to long-term
durability. The uniqueness of the boot is the genuine vulcanized bottom construction with the special Select tread pattern.

The pre-release of the Summit boot will be a limited number of the brown suede colorway (show above)
released globally to taste-maker shops and key accounts.

Look for the full line of colorways released with the rest of the Fall ‘11 C1RCA Select Collection later this year.
