Skate4Cancer on MTV News

Skate4Cancer has joined an online competition called the Aviva Community Fund. Essentially they’re giving away a significant amount of money to help build a space for an organization in the community.  S4C have joined in the hopes of getting funding for a space in downtown Toronto for S4C. This would serve as an office and a retail space. However the most important usage is that it will be a drop-in centre for the S4C community to come, educate themselves about healthy lifestyle choices, talk to our volunteers about battles they or their loved ones may be having, and meet others.

We’re hoping for your vote, and that you might be willing to help us spread the word about voting for Skate4Cancer. The space we’ve applied for fits in the “big” category, between $50,000-$250,000 worth of funding.

It’s a very simple process – if you could go to the following link, read through our idea, and cast your vote. There is a very quick registration that needs to be done. http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf1885
